Our UXD program is built around more than techniques; it’s grounded in the mindsets that make meaningful design possible. We encourage students to be impactful, creative, brave, and curious, and to carry those qualities into everything they make.

Does this sound like you?

Do you love exploring how people think, feel, and interact with digital products? In the User Experience Design program, you’ll learn how to combine creativity, empathy, and technology to design meaningful experiences that truly meet people’s needs.

You’ll dive into understanding users and analysing their behaviour to create engaging products, apps, and services that make a difference. Working in teams on real, hands-on projects, you’ll collaborate in a friendly, international environment where ideas are shared freely and creativity thrives.

At the university

If you’re academically inclined, you may want to follow a master’s after graduating from UXD. Because of UXD’s specific programme, there are as yet no master’s at THUAS that appropriately complement the UXD bachelor. However, our neighbours at the Delft University of Technology offer an interesting alternative, Human Technology Interaction. This master is focused on design. You could also apply for the Creative Intelligence & Technology Master at Leiden University.

Outside the Netherlands, UXD students can follow a master’s straight after graduation. You should note that some universities in the Netherlands require you to follow a pre-master’s course after graduating from THUAS.

See if it’s a right fit for you
